The "Days of the Dead" Still Alive and Well with the Jesus People

The "Jesus People" continue to be drawn to horror films, witchcraft, vampires, Halloween, and "Days of the Dead."

I received this letter by email:

Dear Dwayna,

You have probably already seen this, but in case you haven't you must read John Morehead's newest posting on his contextualization of witchcraft rituals for the dead in Salem, MA. He ends the article by suggesting the pagans have a lot to teach us about death, the dead, and the living! It is an amazing article and certainly exposes this guy for what he is. There is no mention of that the Bible teaches on death and grieving. instead we are to learn from the witches and implement rituals where we write peoples' names in a book of the dead. The Bible says we are written in the Lamb's book of life. This is from the wrong spirit.
