We got in 50 sermons from Hollie Miller at Sevier Heights Baptist for students in the Philippines! I will ship these out to Nitoy this week. I asked for copies, because it is one of my favorite sermons ever, taken from Romans 12:1 about how we are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, which IS our spiritual form of worship. It is a sermon specifically directed at college students, encouraging them to live against the world's message of impurity and wait for pure love. The pastor points out how the will of God is "acceptable", not just to God for our lives, but also to us! We are going to like it. We won't know it, though, apart from obedience. Hollie Miller said that even the desire to want God's will is evidence of someone truly saved. An unsaved person has no desire for God's will, at least when it comes to the pure God of the Bible. The lost person has no desire for such a God. Hollie Miller said not to worry about details--they would all be worked out--the "first thing" is to obey and live a pure life, and the Lord will reveal all the other details of His plan for us.
