Update from the Philippines

Hi Dwayna,

Yesterday I started giving tracts to people at the mall. It was a blast!

Please pray for those people that they will call to God for repentance. In my nightshift, I met these two college girls. They are asking for me to say "Happy Birthday" on video for their friends 18th birthday (debut). One of the girls says that she is looking for 18 strangers to greet her best friend on her birthday. She said 5 persons agreed to do it, and they are having a hard time finding people to do it. Since it's getting dark, and it will be a great opportunity to share with them the gospel, I agreed to be number 6. I joked to them that I needed them to pay me my T.F. (talent fee). The video shoot was funny. Before I did the video shot I asked them to promise not to put the video on YouTube. They agreed. After making me a star :-), they hurried to find another, but I followed them and gave them a gospel tract and a CD. Please pray that the gospel will work in their heart and they will get to know Christ. That was a great evening.

You Found Me

I'm ungrateful, rebellious, stubborn
Selfish, unkind and unloving
You hung at that tree while I'm deep in sin
Because that's the only way you could rescue me

You gave it as a gift that I used to despise
I heard the message but covered it with pride
And when I finally received it and fully understood
Yes it's a gift You paid it with a price

It's not that I think about You, or need You
It's not that I'm ashamed of my sin but proud of it
It's not that I dilingently search for You
But You are the One who searched and found me first

Carrying the cross and following You is too much for me
Knowing that tribulation and persecution will come
But You turned this sinful man to a new creature
All because You found me,

You took the first move for I am filthy
A beggar, raising his fist at You
But You said You came to this world to seek the lost
Then I'm qualified, that's why You found me

And then I surrender it all to You
I feel I'm defeated as I lay down my rebellion
But with You my loss was turned into victory
Because for You I'm precious, You have found me
