est...

Today I have been studying est (always lower case), believe it or not, and I am fascinated with its similiarities with Scientology, as well as Satanism. "Erhard Seminars Training" has now been sold to the Landmark Forum, where they have made Est more palatable for the general public I have been researching.

From what I have read there are no more sessions where people curse at the clients in order for the paticipant clients to have a "breakthrough". [This reminds me of the rooms in Scientology where I witnessed people literally barking at one another for a new-found enlightenment when I toured the headquarters in LA.] They have toned it down a bit now, from what I understand.

Now, in the Landmark Forum, there are other measures taken in order for individuals to be "broken down" and taught a new found "integrity." All of this could only be bizarre and spiritually benign, except for one thing: Erhard, the inventor of such technology, believed that people are gods and had a spiritual disdain for Jesus.

These training forums don't leave spirituality out, though they claim it is open to all religions. Like Scientology, faciliators announce that Christians are welcome. However, Christians who love Jesus will find another spirit at work. Just like in Scientology, the only "Christ" embraced is a "christed energy" or "christ consciousness" as new power transforms clients and people get "it". Interestingly, they are left with no need for a Savior outside of themselves. Yet, the only Savior of divine Love and power over demons still patiently waits and still offers them mercy. But the "enlightened language" of the Forum does not include repentance in humility to a Savior like Jesus.

It is heartbreaking to see what Satan does to people. Heartbreaking.
