LTW to Scotland

The photo above shows David standing in a booth for witnessing, reading "Information About Jesus". These standing booths began in Santa Monica, CA, to my knowledge, and now the "Jesus Booths" have spread. (We have worked with them also in West Hollywood, and I know Nathan, the founder of "Jesus Booth Ministries" very well, and we have also worked together in Venice Beach in the past.) Although these booths are great for the market place, David and Liz and I are talking about setting up a table where more information (such as books, articles, sermons on CD, and Bibles) will be available to people in a ministry of apologetics. This photo was taken in Scotland recently in the town square.
Here is a photo of beautiful Alva, where David and Liz now live and serve the Lord. This place is gorgeous compared to Los Angeles, where we last saw each other! More importantly, they are right where God has called them.

We are preparing to expand to Scotland!! Here is an email from David and Liz Fraser who are working as missionaries there. I knew them when they lived in Los Angeles, and we have been in touch as friends and prayer partners. They are interested in setting up an information table where people can stop on the street and take materials and learn how to be saved. Alva is the area of Scotland where they live.

Alva is a challenging focus for ministry. The High School RE teacher is preparing a Baha’i Curriculum; we have a psychic storefront; spiritists, Masons, whitchcraft, etc. Good News: The Scottish government ‘Curriculum for Excellence’ requires that Christianity be taught in schools! ...So as a Chaplain, I am preaching the gospel every week, answering questions about God and the Bible...I champion the Bible and the truth of Christianity openly, but I am not supposed to "proselytize", so I think a table in the school would be just a bit much, [though]... we still give out tracts and resource Bibles and invite kids to outside groups that get more to the point of discipleship.

However, I would like to have an information table associated with the church on the high street this summer and for our kids' club. (Stirling Street in Alva photo attached).

...learning patience and sensitivity to the Lord....,

Dave & Liz Fraser
