Great Time Last Night in "Prison"! :-)

I had such a great time last night. I was moved to tears as I saw the prisoners singing and praising God with a smile. There was a choir of prisoners singing hymns with prisoners also playing instruments. It was a GREAT choir. I was told that one of the guys on the front row of the choir, smiling the biggest, was in prison for life with no parole.

I gave my testimony and sang "My Prize" and "Victory in Jesus". I saw some of the prisoners wiping back the tears. I praise God that He was at work mightily to draw us closer to Him last night!!

I told the prisoners that we won't be known really until we get Home to Heaven. The ground is level at the foot of the cross, and no one is better than anyone else. We are judged based on the assignments God gives us and how faithful we have been to individual callings. As I saw them worshiping, with their hands lifted to heaven, I said, "You know I may be serving some of you when we get Home. Some of you may be in leadership positions over me. We won't be known until we get Home."
