Dear Praying Friends,
Here is our latest ministry update:
We praise God for his answer to our prayers about leaders. In the last few months several mature ministers have joined us or displayed keen interest in our ministry both in the Negev and in Tel-Aviv. Please pray that we work together effectively and in unity.
Pray also for former drug addicts who are going through rehabilitation program in Bethel Haifa rehab managed by our co-worker, Maxim. I see great potential in these young men. They are very open to the Lord and grow fast. They are getting good, biblical training in the rehab from Maxim and other mature believers and clearly see their need to live active spiritual life and go forward day after day. Looking at them, we can say (rephrasing our Savior’s words): “He who has been forgiven much loves much...” These drug addicts who were lying on Tel-Aviv streets not so long ago are now holding on to the Lord and want to serve him wholeheartedly. Five of them are going to be baptized soon.
I believe that a certain time will pass and these young people will become mature servants and leaders, and maybe some of them will make a decision to move to the Negev and help our congregations there. Please pray for this vision.
Thank you and may God bless you richly,
Dov and Olga Bikas
