Day Outreach in West Hollywood, CA (from George and Goldie Shaw)

A very hot Dog Day of Summer in LA at Plummer Park. We had some rather interesting, as well as excellent contacts.

First came Mijol, a young Gypsy type Russian who wanted the Hebrew - Russian New Testament and a CD-ROM. Yes, this young man really needs the Lord.

Edwin received a whole Spanish Bible, as others came and got Spanish New Testaments and CD-ROM's and 2 Jesus DVD's.

Russian sets were distributed. Many of the older Russians don't have a computer for CD-ROM's.

A special Israeli lady from Nazareth came to us. Sonya was delighted to receive a set of Hebrew -English Bibles and a Messiah of Israel booklet. And agreed to have her photograph taken. She was a blessing.

There was a special YO-YO exhibition in a building near us, with many people passing to see the action. One Christian couple and their two boys from Bakersfield stopped by our table to encourage us on their way to the YO-YO event. Doug and Denise took a CD-ROM as they went away with their boys.

For a long time we had a very young Jewish boy who was 7 years old asking us many questions. He came with with his grandfather, who was behind us playing cards with the older Russian men.

Jordan wanted to know all about the Hebrew Bibles, and all about us. He was around the park with his scooter many times, stopping to ask more questions. He wanted a CD-ROM and a PURE GOLD booklet. His grandfather kept the CD for Jordan while he rode around the park.

Sowing seeds of Love, Grace and Hope were planted in the soil of souls that only the person of the Holy Spirit can sprout to salvation.

Thank you for praying as we go into Los Angeles, which is another world of ethnicity and diversity of hungry souls starving for Love, Joy and Peace in Jesus Christ.
