Gang Outreach in Minneapolis

Please join me in prayer for James and Anne and their outreach in Minneapolis to gangs:

...about two weeks ago we had a bullet come through our living room window. A few days ago I watched a shooting just down the street from my house (26th Ave. N. & Emerson). Therefore, the outreach planned for this Saturday (9/19) is both greatly needed and at the same time a sobering opportunity.

At about 2pm, Lord willing, on Saturday, I and three to five other dear, courageous saints will prayerfully pull up in the van to the pocket groups of troubled youth and attempt to share the love and gospel of Christ. We want these hardened youth to see Christ's courage and love lived out directly toward them. Please pray that God might open doors for His gospel to be received and for deaf ears to be opened. We want to see lives changed from the inside out which only the gospel, as you know, can do (Romans 1:16-17).

Pray for the glory of Christ to be proclaimed, revealed and communicated to these needy souls in our neighborhood. Thank you for partnering with us dear brothers and sisters.
