Hi Dwayna, We were so busy talking to people, one after another at Venice Beach, there was not much time for taking photos! We were challenged a couple of times by somewhat angry people, but each time the Holy Spirit in us would rise up without any hostilities in return.Upon their departure, each person would either have a smile on their face or some materials in their hand.
God blessed us so completely on this day (and the Friday night in West Hollywood the week prior).
I'm praying for all the teams throughout the world. I see the gifts that each team member brings to the ministry and the growth in us as we continue on God's path--serving Him through serving others in evangelism. I thank God for this ministry...
In His joy is right!
We had another wonderful day of ministry in Christ, perfect weather lots of people out. It wasn't long before people started coming to the table. There were some familiar faces, but most were new to us. All in all, we had a fantastic day. This is a picture is of Ramy who hung around the table throughout the day listening to conversations the team was having others. Earlier he had stated to Mike that all the prophets came to bring unity even though they preached a different message. Mike answered him with Matt 10:34, showing that Jesus came not to bring peace but a sword... Hours later he came back over to ask for more info. He was very interested our table.
His eye caught a Bible, which he didn't take, but it definitely was of interest to him.
This is Derrick. He is wheelchair bound; his leg is amputated above the right knee. He was very discouraged when he approached our table and muttered the question out loud after reading our sign, "What does God have to say about my future?"Mike went through verses in Romans with him for salvation, and we all prayed for him. As you can see from the photo, the Bible verses, prayer and God's love seemed to have a positive effect on him. Please pray for him as he is on the streets and also has diabetes.
In Christ,
The team
(Mike,Eileen,&Dan)
