Once a month Curt and Janie set up the table outreach at the street fair in Harlingen, TX.
Last Saturday I had the blessing of meeting Curt and Janie in person (after partnering with them for almost a year). We worked together in evangelism and apologetics at the street fair, as God brought up many people to our table!
Resources on the table are free for people approaching.
We have many materials for children. (This ministry began as an outreach to kids outside of a school at their church, Covenant Presbyterian.)
After a few weeks in the former location, God led Curt and Janie to set up at the street fair instead of the school where they could reach many more people--adults as well as kids!
Our prayer is to have something on the table for everyone. What a joy as God brings people over, and we have the privilege of being used by Him to point people to Jesus through free articles, books, tracts, and Bibles.
We have witnessing materials for Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses
and generic sermons, as well as interviews on CD defending the Bible against apostate practices and cults.
Curt and Janie also go into Mexico regularly to minister in prisons and schools, so many materials are needed in Spanish...
For the Hindus, New Agers (and Christians) we have materials defending the Bible against one Hindu practice common in our culture: yoga.
Books and Bibles are free to people who genuinely show interest and promise to read them.
Janie witnessed to the kids warmly when they wanted a free Bible, turning to passages and reading them verses. She gave them "homework", asking them to read the Ten Commandments and come back to the table next month to discuss them with her. They happily took the Bibles and promised to read the Ten Commandments to discuss them with Janie next month. Curt and I looked on with joy, realizing there is no greater happiness for a Christian than sharing the "Good News" of Jesus to people of all ages!
Quotes from America's founding fathers and past presidents lauding the Bible and Christianity are given for free to school teachers to read a quote daily to their children in school.
Janie and Curt have purchased coloring books for children explaining the Gospel to them. (They are hoping to find more materials like this, as they are rapidly running out!)
We gave out many tracts explaining why Jesus is the only way (John 14:6), and "what sets Christianity apart from 'religion'". Also materials against evolution are always appreciated and needed for agnostics to defend the creation account in Genesis. 
Many Catholics approach the table, and God uses Janie's testimony as she lovingly shares with them how she used to be a Catholic...and how Jesus became her Savior today, giving her a relationship with Him based on grace.
We also keep materials for Moslems on hand at the table for people interested in quotes from Islam, exposing the true beliefs and teaching of that religion.
