Grace That Won't Let Us Go

Someone sent me a link to David Wilkerson preaching a sermon entitled "When A Man of God Loses His Faith," taken from an Old Testament text. www.holydesperation.com . Sadly, I was not surprised. There is no mention of God's grace under the New Covenant. David Wilkerson speaks as if it is our responsibility to keep ourselves. Praise God, that is wrong! Here is my response:

Jesus will NEVER let go of His own. Because of Jesus, we are now under grace. We don’t want to take advantage of that grace if He truly lives in us---but IF HE TRULY LIVES IN US, HE WILL NEVER LET US GO. David Wilkerson is not talking enough about God’s grace. Again, read John 17, John 10, Romans 8, Ephesians 1. God will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever let His own go. NOT BECAUSE OF OUR WORKS. Because of Jesus.
