The Importance of Fearing God

Just today I was reading verses in the Bible about how the wicked have no fear of God. I also heard an excellent sermon recently on the importance of fearing God. We should never have the attitude of taking advantage of God's grace, because He is a God of justice, a "consuming fire."

Matthew 10:28 "Fear not them who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." [This is also an excellent verse to give to people like Hindus who believe in reincarnation, a belief system suggesting the soul returns to earth in cycles of transmigration. This verse stumps them. :-)]
