I drove out to an area called "Little Five Points" today for the first time. Yes, it is the perfect place in Midtown Atlanta for a table outreach of apologetics.
I had planned to take a short walk in Piedmont Park, but could not find parking, so I kept driving to find Little Five Points. Until today I had only heard of the area, so it was good to drive through it. I agree about it being a great place for evangelism. I could not find parking, because it was only available along the side streets as far as I could tell. It also looked like a dangerous area at night, so this will be a day ministry, hopefully on Saturdays. I will be in touch with a team of people here in Atlanta to work with me in this ministry and provide prayer support through my church at First Baptist Atlanta. I am praying for someone to co-lead it with me, so it can continue weekly when I am out of town.
My next trip is to Los Angeles and then to NYC to work with the ministry teams there. I am not sure when this outreach in Atlanta will begin. Hopefully, by March.
