Work Today

I had a GREAT time at church today with another fantastic sermon from my pastor, Charles Stanley. I am excited about working with many of the Singles when this ministry in 'Little Five Points' begins. Many of the Singles at First Bapt. Atlanta love evangelism and apologetics, so it will be wonderful to see this new ministry of evangelism and apologetics begin this spring. (It is easier said than done. I am relying on God to help us with every step. Even parking seems challenging, as I did not see a parking lot close to where I feel we are meant to set up.)

Today, I am working with our bookkeeper, and I am in the process of sending everyone a receipt for donations made in 2009. They will be sent out via email.

This is quite a bit of work. Of course, there is just not enough time to answer all of my emails or read all of the articles sent my way, but I am experiencing God's rest as I am enjoying spending all of my time doing this ministry to the praise of His glory. What an answer to prayer to work without distraction and be focused on all He has for me to do.

I was saved for Jesus and not myself, and nothing thrills my heart like living close to Him in obedience and telling others about His pure and precious love. Thank you for the prayers.

In His joy,
Dwayna
