Homosexuality and the US Military

Congress is considering repealing the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Read article about homosexuality in the military here. I heard a news commentator recently say that this policy was always ridiculous, because people risking their lives cannot be expected to hide their sexual orientation from others. Hopefully, our military will be able to serve without such a distraction.
