International Society for Women in Apologetics

I am thankful to be a member of this society for Christian women:

http://www.womeninapologetics.com/

The web site was just completed, and we will add the link to our blog roll.

Comment from blog reader:

Dear Dwayna,

...I was just checking out the women's apologetic site and some of the women. (Mainly to see if one happens to be near me.) I went to [one of the women listed] and clicked on her recommended books (I've found you can tell a lot by this), and her first recommendation was "Sacred Friendships." Well, naturally, I had to look it over. Wow, it is a book on "soul care" and "spiritual direction" and the open embrace of mystics. I attached the reviews. Then, I went to her blog which features the Manhattan Declaration. So, just wanted to let you know so you would understand her worldview. I hope this doesn't offend you, but I know you don't have the time or ability to research every jot and tittle. This problem is so rampant these days I think we would be hard pressed to find a handful of people that reject the onslaught of Contemplative Spirituality.

My response:

I am forwarding this to the leader of the society and will let everyone know the response. It is correct that I don't have time to research everything, so I appreciate this comment. I am certainly opposed to the Manhattan Declaration. As women in apologetics, we need to certainly be defending the truth and fight against the onslaught of contemplative spirituality.
