Music and Bookkeeping

Well, I started a new song today, and I want to finish writing it tomorrow. I have the chorus, and I hope to finish the verses. I love it! It is called "Honest Life."

I am still inundated with bookkeeping and plan to talk to our accountant tomorrow with a phone meeting. Plus, I will be shipping out 10 copies of the book, The Light That Was Dark for outreach at Venice Beach.

I spoke with Dan, the leader for West Hollywood and Long Beach, today by phone. They were hoping to go out to West Hollywood this Friday, but they have had to cancel again due to weather. They are shooting for next Friday in West Hollywood. As for Long Beach, Dan hopes to move the cart over to First Baptist Long Beach this week for it to be stored there. This will make it much easier to witness on a regular basis on Pine Street, where the church is located.

I have not stopped with work today. What a pleasure to know that God knows my every thought, and He delights in my love for Him (when I can't get everything done I want to do.) I was thinking about the joy of walking closely to Him when I just started writing a new song about it. I can't wait to finish "Honest Life."
