Singing at the Bowery Mission Battered Women's Shelter NYC

I have never been more excited about any opportunity than I am about singing and sharing my testimony soon at a Christian battered women's shelter in NYC. I was on the phone for over an hour today finding out details about my forthcoming visit to the NYC Bowery Christian Mission. Since it is a Christian shelter, I will have freedom to share my testimony and tell the women what it means to let Jesus be everything to me.

This turned out to be a much busier day than I had planned. I got in three boxes of resources, which I needed to open and sort through for our ministries. One box had materials based on Psalm 91, donated for military families with books for kids about trusting in the Lord and not fearing. I realized, as I looked through the materials, that many of these books about finding strength in the Lord will be a blessing to the women and kids at the battered women's shelter in NYC. I plan to leave a few of the books with the mission after I share my testimony there and sing and donate a few music CDs for the women to enjoy.
