Update from Ireland

LTW is praying about partnering with Miles McKee in resources, as we pray for the people of Ireland. Here is his latest newsletter:

What a gospel we have! As someone once said, “God Himself gave Himself to save us from Himself.” This is good news! We deserved wrath, but God would now be unjust to send us to Hell. “Hold on a second “someone says, “we deserve to go to hell and God would be just to send us there!--- No, He wouldn’t! The wrath of God has been exhausted against our sin. Christ has died, Christ has risen----it is finished. The demands of justice against us have been satisfied. Jesus our redeemer has paid for us.

Each day, here in New Ross, a number of us have been hitting the streets, talking to people about the Lord Jesus and His gospel. What a reception! Some people have basically told us to go to a place much warmer than New Ross at this time of the year. Others, however, listen and ask questions. On Sunday morning we had a man who had been reached through our literature attend the meeting. He listened intently as I preached on ‘Christ our Passover’.

Today, the local priest was engaged in a lengthy conversation. He will not now be able to say that he has never heard the gospel. An invitation was issued to him to attend our special meeting on Sunday evening 28th March----please pray for him.

Tomorrow we will go to the Saint Patrick's Day parade----May the Lord bless us with many new contacts.

Thursday night we will have our midweek meeting---we have a pledge from a new family that they will attend (husband wife and three teenagers).

On Friday I travel to the North of Ireland to preach at an outreach event organized by Seamus O’Conner, a former IRA gunman. Please pray for power in the ministry of the Word at all our meetings
