Today a member of our NYC team had a chance to write someone about the dangers of the Kabbalah. The woman had been given a charm from a rabbi in Kabbalah, and the girl was distraught after losing the charm. Here is what our team member wrote her with a Psalm pasted at the bottom of her letter. I read this so thankful for my strong, Christian friends on our NYC team who encourage me daily to keep "fighting the good fight" in God's holiness and love.
---------------------------
I am sending you the below in the hopes of consoling you and your loss over the charm. Please know that I care for you deeply, and while you see the loss of it as something bad, I honestly believe that God took it away from you as He wants you to depend on Him, and Him only, for your help in times of trouble. Secondly, I also believe that it was to keep you away from the mysticism which you are apparently and unknowingly dealing in by visiting with a rabbi who practices kabbalah which is mystical Judaism, which God strictly forbids, and considers witchcraft, which He hates. I have put the English, Hebrew and Russian version [of Psalm 139] below.
Remember, that the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. The Word of God is life!!! It is stronger than any chant or charm any man can give you. It has healed my heart and it will heal yours. Just trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.... in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths!!!
Instead of depending on an object for your comfort, put your trust in Elohim, Who is able to care for you and protect you in whatever is bothering or hurting you. Don't put your trust in fables and psychics, which this Rabbi is....
Read the below [Psalm 139] tonight when you get home, before you go to bed and when you rise up in the morning, and I and my friends will keep you in prayer for protection and comfort.
I love you!!!

And she ended up writing her again:
I feel really badly about the situation you told me about, not so much that you lost it, but more so because you feel a "charm" has magical powers to cure your hurts. I have told you and will tell you again that the Word of God is more powerful than anything a Rabbi can tell you or give you as a charm to "protect you and help you". In the past, when you had that horrible experience with the nightmares, I told you that it could be a result of you messing around with occult stuff in the way of mysticism, horoscopes and all the rest, which God strictly forbids, as it is considered witchcraft, and God, Who is Light, cannot mix with darkness.
I love and care for you deeply and I want to encourage you to read the below Psalm 139 from King David (in Hebrew, Russian and English), as it is the protection you need. Read it as your prayer tonight when you get home and before you go to bed and when you rise up in the morning.... Elohim cares about you and He sees all things, and I will continue to pray for you along with my friends, so that you will be comforted in your person.
I dont believe that you loosing the charm was a bad thing, as I see it God protecting you from relying on an object rather than in Him, and also protecting you from opening that door yet again into things we have no business dealing with.
Please receive this in the spirit it is meant, with much love.
Ahava...
