I finished all of my work for web site updates, and I am just waiting on the web designer to post all of the locations. Soon we will be up to date for our web site's home page of locations of outreach, and I will then work on updating certain locations like NYC since we have a new team there now.
Speaking of the team in NYC, we are working with Heritage Baptist Church and Chosen People Ministries. The girls are participating in a Jewish parade today and speaking to Jews about Jesus as Messiah with tracts from Chosen People.
By the way, I am not going to be posting any photos of myself in general on this blog for a while. I posted a photo on Facebook last Saturday of myself at the symphony, and though the dress only showed my shoulders, it was controversial. My mother agreed that there was nothing wrong with the photo. My dress came right at the knee and was not revealing in any way. A few people did not like it, suggesting that I dressed that way to attract men. Well, that is absolutely not true. I received another email about my blog becoming too much about "me", so for these reasons, I will not be posting any other photos of myself at fun events on my blog for an indefinite period. I am not going to be posting any photos of myself on my personal Facebook page either for a good while. The Bible says to not offend the Body of Christ, who are His people. Though the women offended were in the minority on Facebook, and it is impossible for me to please everyone all of the time, it hurts me to offend anyone who is a Christian. The blog and FB posts on my personal page will be focused on discussing Christianity and news about our mission work through Lighting the Way. It is a fine line--living only for God's approval, yet loving Christians who misjudge me with the prayer of not offending them at any cost.
