Reiki Won't Work on Me

With my shoulders hurting from too much time at the computer, I stopped to get an hour deep tissue massage recently (for only 40.00). The woman asked me to lie face up on the table, and she would massage my neck. She came in the room to begin, and I said what I always say in our New Age culture before getting a massage, "I only want a deep tissue massage. Nothing spiritual, please." She said, "Ok," and she began to hold her hands over me parallel to my body with her eyes closed. I asked, "What are you doing?" She answered, "I am clearing the room."

I sat up and explained once again emphatically, "I am a Christian, and I am not into Shamanism or Reiki. Please don't pray to any spirits or do anything spiritual. I just want a deep tissue massage." She actually reacted as if she had never been told such a thing. It was very hard for her to stop, and she was resistant. I had to once again say nicely, "Please stop whatever you are doing. It won't work on me anyway, because I have the Holy Spirit living in me, and He will block the other spirits from working."

She answered nonchallantly, "I am a Christian, too."

She began the massage with nothing else weird, and I prayed as she was rubbing my neck. I realized that she was not going anywhere, since I was paying her to massage my neck, so I asked nicely, "Did you know that Satan is described in the Bible as parading himself as an angel of light?" She answered, "No, I did not know that." I said, "Yes, I even have a book about a 'dark light' someone used to follow before the person began following Jesus. Satan can heal, too."

She said, "I don't know anything about that." I asked, "Well, what were you doing? Nowhere in the Bible does it say to clear the room like that."

She was doing Reiki. (See videos). But, it didn't work on me!
