The team set up last Friday night in West Hollywood along Santa Monica Blvd. in the "gay" bar district, offering free Bibles and testimonies on CD and DVD of people who have left the homosexual lifestyle.
We have new materials for lesbians with a testimony from Mary on how she left lesbianism. She tells how the love of Jesus changed her life.
It was a slow night last Friday night in the same spot where we have been setting up since 2005. Dan, the leader, wrote to tell me, "I think back on some of the conversations, the brokenness, the pain from rejection of friends and family and the look in a person's eyes when the light finally turns on, and they see they don't have to do this anymore--there is hope for them in a truly changed life as we share with them testimony after testimony of people who have been set free and refer them to counselors. We have experienced all of this and more at our little table on Santa Monica Blvd. since this outreach began, and I know we will see greater things to come as the world gets darker and the light of God's pure love appears brighter."
