Progress Report

Since I am just returning to Atlanta, I wanted to write about our accomplishments recently and current work goals for the week.

We are working consistently on beginning the new outreach to the University of TN students, praying that God will provide the extra funds as we are getting the table this week and ordering the banner to fit the table reading, "A Free Gift for You" in UT colors of orange and white. We are also making CD copies of sermons and DVDs on the scientific evidence for Intelligent Design for the students. The leader, Tom, is working on making copies of the articles I left him for the table to make available to the students, as I sent him a coupon for copies to be made at Staples. We estimate the cost of this new location to be 500.00 in just getting it started. Sevier Heights Baptist is considering partnering with us, and we hope and pray that we can work closely with that church in this campus outreach.

My mother, the leader for the Smoky Mountain outreach, is meeting with someone at her church tomorrow with the hope that First Baptist Sevierville will help us with Bibles and the overwhelming, constant need for CD and DVD copies to be made of our sermons and lectures against evolution, etc.

I will be in the music studio all day tomorrow, finishing my new song, "Place Of Surrender". I plan to stop by the post office on the way to mail out boxes of resources to the Venice Beach location and NYC. I plan to call the leader for Boulder and have a meeting by phone with her about the resources I am going to send her for her table this week. In addition to that phone meeting, I am going to try my best to get in touch with some Christians by email in Los Cabos, Mexico, because I will be there in October, and I would like to see a table outreach begin in Cabo San Lucas.

This week I am determined to compile links for a newsletter, which is overdue, to ministry partners. I will be setting up this weekend in Little Five Points, and I will be in touch with Christians here in Atlanta to organize this Saturday's outreach.

We are working on new music videos for the Internet and a new web site where music CDs will be sold and Christian music will be featured. We are making steady progress on DwaynaLitz.com and need to begin focusing on ByGodsGrace.org to get that up and running (finally!) for all of our ministry locations worldwide, as this will be a site to answer questions from strangers who approach the table and a place for follow up. I have just honestly not had time to write the text for it all. This needs to be a priority, however; it will be very rewarding to see it up and running. We can put stickers with that web site on all of our tracts and books, so the people can follow up there if they have questions.

I have made phone calls today to organizations helping teenage girls get off the streets from trafficking. I feel very strongly that I am meant to help children more, and this minitry is meant to go into the ghetto to help them. There are many ways of seeing this accomplished, and I know God will open doors and close others to show us the specific way He wants to use this ministry with children. I am going to be writing on how we can know God's will, as I have been discussing helping children on Facebook this week and have received many emails about how and what I plan to do and how I can know God's will in this. It is not that difficult, so I plan to write about how we, as Christians, can know God's will when we set out to do something overwhelming when there are many opportunities and directions possible to take. We can know we are in God's will, and it is because of God's action on our behalf and not because of our own! He gets all the glory for what He accomplishes in and through us, and I will enjoy writing more about that. It seems many people are confused about how to know God's will in an area of freedom, such as my desire to help children.

With His love lighting the way for every step I take,

Dwayna
