LTW Update: West Hollywood last night

I was not even set up fully when people began stopping by on the gay bar strip of Santa Monica Blvd. A man from Texas with a young Asian guy took a book. The man from Texas was on his way home and said he wanted to read it tonight. The Asian man was on his way to the gay club just up from our table. (We will soon need to order more materials, because we have really been busy on the streets of West Hollywood giving away books, Bibles and CDs and DVDs of testimonies of people who have struggled with homosexuality to be walking in newness of life now through Jesus at the "Heart for Him" table alongside the gay bars.)

The man pictured left the table as my friend. He spent 2 hours at the table speaking with me and took the book, When Lost Men Come Home, and a couple of tracts. He had a lot of questions about Christ and had New Age beliefs but was very receptive as I shared God's Word.

While we were engaged with him, a man named Brian approached the table. I discussed the true nature of Christ with him, and he claimed to be a Christian who went to a Gay Foursquare Church in the San Fernando Valley. I warned him about the deceptive nature of many "Christian churches" that do not teach the full Word of God, teaching instead false doctrine. I read Romans, chapter 1, to him. He stayed about a half hour or so and thanked us and left.

Taking the Gospel to the streets,
