Feeling SO Good

Tomorrow I am recording another song in a new studio about my relationship with God, and then I will be preparing for my trip to Mexico. As for this trip, just like last year, I hope to make progress on beginning a new table outreach of evangelism in Los Cabos, which is a tourist area of Baja CA. Practically everyone speaks English, so it is very easy to communicate. It would be perfect to have a table outreach on the city streets of Cabo San Lucas, because it is a liberal place where many homosexuals go and known as a "party town."

I am going, because I own a timeshare there. The timeshare was purchased for me years ago, when the only locations for the timeshare were in California. It recently expanded to Los Cabos, Mexico, so this is my yearly treat. There is not much Internet access. I am bringing my lap top to write the text for the new web site, http://www.bygodsgrace.org/ , but I will not be able to get online to answer emails. (I am not complaining!) There will be plenty of time for rest. It is always quite a change of pace for me, when I am used to working ALL the time. I know some Christians in the town, and we are going to meet to discuss the possibility of a table outreach. I will bring some materials with me to give them. Because I save up my air miles, the plane fare was free! So, this entire time in Mexico will not cost me anything other than food and taxi transportation from the airport to the location where I will be staying. This is just what the doctor ordered, because, as we expand to new locations of mission work, I don't stop. I can't, because there is too much to do. I believe I can write the text for the pages for the new web site for non-Christians while I am in Mexico and return to emails and shipping needs and preparation (via ordering resources) for new outreach locations at the end of October.

My next goal, when this new web site is done, is to meet the need for our ministry web site, http://www.lightingthewayworldwide.org/ . We have outgrown the format, and we must create a new web site for LTW. I will work with a designer on that and hope to begin work on a new outreach location at Georgia Tech when I return. I also want to begin writing my book to encourage other Christian women on how to be single and happy, with or without a man. After all, God has really made me at peace within myself and happy and at ease without a man to "fix" me or make me happy. I feel happy on my own. It has not always been this way, and I want to share all God has done.

In November I am scheduled to speak and sing at Angola Prison, sharing my testimony. I want to also show the DVD, "God of Wonders" to the prisoners. I will need to focus on making the most of every day there, so this will also take preparation.

In December, I am scheduled to be on a television program to share my testimony and speak about our work of evangelism based on apologetics all over the world through our table ministry locations to people on city streets. I want to let other Christians know that if God can use me to start such an outreach, He can use anyone! (It seems God is opening a door for us to do a table outreach in the slums of Kenya, too, and offer free Bibles to the poor.)

In the joy of letting God be everything to me,

Dwayna
