This has been deemed 'the intellectuals' Bible.' But is it that easy (or hard) to figure out what it means to know God? If so, the Holy Bible is not true, because Jesus teaches that unless we come to Him as a little child, we cannot know Him. There is no Gnosticism required. As a matter of fact, we must leave our ego (...and the"metaphorical fugue on minds") behind, instead of boasting in Gnostic enlightenment. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1 that "the cleverness of the clever God sets aside." According to the HOLY Bible, God will bring low the proud and destroy the wisdom of the "great men of the world" (1 Cor. 1-3 and Rev. 6:14-17). So, how can the "fractals" add up to produce a God like this? Isn't that creating a god in our own image? This god may be intellectual, but is he intellectual enough? Is such a god humble enough to meet sinners right where they are in an abyss of sin? I don't think so.
