Update From George & Goldie Shaw

Construction, construction everywhere, including around the Free Speech Area of Pierce College. At least there was a pathway to the cafeteria where students and staff found their way for physical food, with some hungry souls receiving spiritual food, being the pure Word of God.

Dawn spotted the Magdalena DVD and needed it to share with others. Claudia got a Jesus DVD and New Testament, plus a whole Spanish Bible for herself and her mom. Jessica received a whole Spanish Bible. Jarelle and Joey got material and a Jesus DVD for the Christian Club on campus. Shlomi, meaning "My Peace," received a Hebrew English Tanakh.

It was not a big response day, but at least Goldie and I gave out many Scripture bookmarks. Eighty per cent of the passing students took a bookmark, and that's very good. This will end our college compus outreach until February. We will now focus on churches to visit and share bilingual Hebrew Bibles, as well as responding to e-mail and snail mail requests and reaching Israelis selling products at this Christmas season in the malls. Our own Pacific View Mall already has many Israelis working. We have already reached two with CD-ROM's, Roman (Row-mane) and Elam. The Thousand Oaks Mall is also another good location with many more Israelis working there. Outreach is always happening in some way right here in the city of Ventura, or the county.

During this Christmas, may we all be sharing the Good News, even just by sending Christmas cards. Thank you for praying. Merry Christmas and a blessed, joyful, fruitful New Year in our Lord Jesus.
