Work Today
I speak with a new web designer tonight for a new web site for music.
I have been posting a lot of news on Facebook today, and it has made for some interesting discussion, as usual.
I am going to take a short walk now and go to prayer meeting at my church tonight. I plan to work on an update from my recent weekend at Little Five Points tonight. We will be setting up again this weekend, with no rain in the forecast! I am hoping to work with about 5 people this weekend there in outreach.

Why Pakistan?
I thank God for burdening you about Pakistan. The people there have NOTHING if we don’t send it to them. I believe it is a special outreach, too, perhaps because the Gospel is so forbidden there. I thank the Lord for this outreach. The pastor is overjoyed. I cannot believe I was able to wire him 800.00. We have never received that much for any overseas location, so God is at work.
Thank you for your prayers for this new location. Whatever you send, even if it is just 10.00, I will put it toward Pakistan. You can give online or snail mail, but if anyone gives online PayPal does take a small amount. I know it is inconvenient to give by snail mail, so it is fine to give online. God bless you. I believe He has a plan to save many of these people there through us. People are now getting Bibles in that location THEY HAVE NEVER HAD BEFORE. These people have never read the Bible before…

Islam Explained in Layman's Terms
Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.
Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.
Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.
When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.
Here's how it works:
As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:
United States -- Muslim 0.6%
Australia -- Muslim 1.5%
Canada -- Muslim 1.9%
China -- Muslim 1.8%
Italy -- Muslim 1.5%
Norway -- Muslim 1.8%
At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:
Denmark -- Muslim 2%
Germany -- Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7%
Spain -- Muslim 4%
Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%
From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:
France -- Muslim 8%
Philippines -- 5%
Sweden -- Muslim 5%
Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8%
At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam, with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections in:
Guyana -- Muslim 10%
India -- Muslim 13.4%
Israel -- Muslim 16%
Kenya -- Muslim 10%
Russia -- Muslim 15%
After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:
Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%
At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:
Bosnia -- Muslim 40%
Chad -- Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%
From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:
Albania -- Muslim 70%
Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4%
Qatar -- Muslim 77..5%
Sudan -- Muslim 70%
After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:
Bangladesh -- Muslim 83%
Egypt -- Muslim 90%
Gaza -- Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1%
Iran -- Muslim 98%
Iraq -- Muslim 97%
Jordan -- Muslim 92%
Morocco -- Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan -- Muslim 97%
Palestine -- Muslim 99%
Syria -- Muslim 90%
Tajikistan -- Muslim 90%
Turkey -- Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96%
100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:
Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%
Somalia -- Muslim 100%
Yemen -- Muslim 100%
Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.
"Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; the tribe against the world, and all of us against the infidel." -- Leon Uris, 'The Haj'
It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.
Today's 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world's population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers. Muslims will exceed 50% of the world's population by the end of this century.

The Morning A Demon Came In My Room
The Dalai Lama came to Pasadena and then to UC Irvine, and I was there to hand out materials to people both days. The Buddhist monks walked counter-clockwise around the building in Pasadena. Who says the Dalai Lama is not demonic? Buddhism is highly demonic. The Buddhist monks were not walking counter-clockwise for exercise but for spiritual (demonic) powers to be unleashed on the people and on the city.
Here are the public school kids in CA at UC Irvine taking our booklets of quotes from the Founding Fathers and Presidents after hearing the Dalai Lama. The powerful quotes from our past Presidents (teaching of simple faith in the Bible and a moral God) combated the postmodern Buddhism they encountered from the Dalai Lama. The students began by standing under prayer flags to enter the building, and they left set free from those demonic prayer flags as they were reminded to "Go to the Scriptures..." by past American Presidents.
I am posting this again to show the power of the demonic realm and how that power is subjugated through the Holy Spirit by Jesus. Satan in his rebellion took one third of the angels with him, and this host of fallen angels has been given powers. We are in a very real spiritual battle. This excerpt cuts to the main point of my essay; the full essay explains the evangelism I had been doing prior to this happening. It was just a morning like any other, except for how we had come against demonic spirits of Buddhism the night prior. As the Buddhists monks were walking counter clockwise while the Dalai Lama spoke to public school kids in CA, we prayed that the public school students at UC Irvine would be confused by his teaching and open to the materials distributed to them afterwards. I had a big bag full of booklets of quotes from the founding fathers and past presidents of America, all lauding God, Jesus and faith in the Bible. After the students left the Dalai Lama, they were receptive to our books and sat there on the lawn at UC Irvine reading the books until they boarded the bus. Some of the public school teachers said, "They can't read this. It is about the Bible." I responded, "These are quotes from American history. They can read the quotes." God used it, and this happened to me the following morning.(For full article go here).
...My home number is a private number, and I don’t give it out. The only people that have my home number are people of character. The number below is my cell. I have never had a crank call since I have lived in this apartment, which has been over two years now. Never, that is, until yesterday morning. I sent out that email to all of you about fasting and praying, and it went out to about 500 Christians. Many of you were praying on Friday as we were there on campus spreading the Gospel. Well, evidently the devil was upset. I got a phone call which woke me up on my home phone yesterday morning at 5. I said, “Hello.” A man said, “Hey, Baby.” I said, “Who is this?” He said, “You know who this is.” I said more emphatically, “Who is this?” He said, “You know who this is.” I hung up. I went back to bed and thought, Oh, well, that was just the wrong number. That is no big deal. The caller ID said the number was a private number, so there was no identification as to who it could have been. I didn’t recognize the voice, so I just dismissed the notion of it being anybody I knew and went back to bed and really thought nothing of it.
I went back to sleep and had this horrible dream. I never have bad dreams, ever, so this was very unusual. This was a dream about someone beating on conga drums with incense in the air and some older woman with gray hair chanting and saying prayers, looking up through the smoke. Someone had died, and they were doing voodoo. It was very, very weird and scary. I remember it all very vividly as I am writing this. I normally never have any recollection of a dream. I usually sleep very peacefully. I woke up from the dream without any alarm clock right after 6. I thought, Well, I am really glad to be out of that dream! I guess I have been spending too much time at Venice Beach! That was a really horrible dream. Whew!
I saw the clock and thought, I need to get up now, but I will just stay in bed for about 5 more minutes. I was fully awake, but I had my eyes closed. As I laid there in bed with my eyes closed, I heard someone walking in my room. It sounded just like someone was walking in my room. It was like they were walking in, and they were next to me in bed. I was lying there, and I just knew, or had a sense, that someone or something was in my room. I rolled over and faced the other side of my bed where it seemed the entity had positioned itself and pointed my finger straight out at it and said, “JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJesus!” It was so powerful that I had to try with all of my might to say the name of Jesus. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I couldn’t even say the name of Jesus at first. Once I was released to say it, though, I yelled it! I pointed my finger all around my room and yelled, “Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!” sitting up in bed. I turned around beside me to face the entity in my bed and said very emphatically, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get out! In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, leave!”
I got up immediately and got out my Bible on audio cassette. I chose the tape of the book of Revelation and pushed “play” just as fast as I could. So I stood there in my night gown in the middle of my room looking all around in the air while the Scripture was being proclaimed for all of the principalities to hear. I had recently bought a very pretty Oneida glass cross right after my grandfather passed away. I was keeping the crystal cross beside a picture of him on the table. I grabbed that cross, and I held it up in the air in front of me and said, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you can not have me. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you can not have me.”
I paused and stood there still with the cross in front of me while the Scripture was filling up the room on audio cassette. I said very calmly, “You’ve shown me you’re not happy with me. Well, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, second Person of the Trinity, (I cringed my teeth and yelled) I AM NOT DONE YET! And you leave me alone. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.”
The Bible was still playing, and I put the cross down. I sat down on my couch and started to cry. I have never felt so afraid in my whole entire life. I was crying just like a little girl on her Father’s lap praying, “Lord, this is so scary, please keep me safe. I am so scared. That was so powerful. That phone call was so scary, and then the dream, and then hearing someone walking in my room. Please give me the strength to do Your will.” I got up and thought to myself, I have never missed Tennessee so much.
I felt this strange desire, out of the blue, to sing. I thought, I can’t sing. I don’t have any time to sing after what I have just experienced! Besides, I have got to keep this Bible playing so that demon won’t come back! I started to do some bookkeeping as the Bible continued to play. I still felt this strange desire to sing. As I finished with my receipts, I started to think about that phone call earlier that woke me up and how the guy on the other end said, ‘You know who this is,” and I started to cry again. I was still very afraid.
I prayed, “Oh Lord, please help me. I am so scared. Please keep me safe. Satan is out to get me…” As I prayed, I continued to feel this strange desire to sing. Finally, I thought to myself, Maybe the Lord wants me to sing. So I stopped crying and said, “Ok, Lord. I will sing.” So, after about two hours since the encounter, I finally turned off the Bible cassettes.
I turned on an accompaniment tape for the song “My Savior First Of All.” As the introduction started with piano and strings, I got down on my knees, in the same room where the entity had been, beside the same bed, and lifted up my hands to heaven. I started to sing, “When my life’s work has ended and I cross the swelling tide,” and I became totally overwhelmed by the presence of the Holy Spirit. I couldn’t sing. I could only barely whisper the lyrics as I cried tears of thanksgiving and love for Him. I was totally and completely at peace in His presence in the arms of my Father. I said, “Oh, thank you, Lord. You knew I was scared, and You knew I was troubled, and You cared enough about me to urge me to sing, because You wanted to show me Your power, so I wouldn’t be afraid anymore.” I said, “That spirit did overpower me this morning, but You are overpowering me more. And I know now that I am ok. You wanted to show me Your power, and You cared enough to prompt me to get me still before You in worship, so You could send Your spirit down on me here in this room.”

LTW to the Smokies Update
When I arrived at the Sugarlands Visitor Center at 8:30 this morning, the first parking spot was waiting on me. I only had to carry my materials a very short distance from the car to my designated area. In large and small ways, God takes care of us as we serve Him. The sun shone brightly as the big, white, puffy clouds drew attention to the mountains beneath. I took a picture of the view I saw from my table area, and am posting it with pictures of some of the tourists who came over to talk with me.
One of the park rangers and I have become good friends. When the table was set up, she came over, and we shared what had happened in our lives since we talked last summer. Soon people were coming to the table, and a steady flow of tourists continued until by 2:00; everything on the table was taken. Eight Bibles were given out today. It is wonderful to see people so excited to have a Bible! I have only three Bibles left in my storage cabinet, so I will be contacting Dwayna to send me more, as she can.
I spoke with a young man with three children about the plan of salvation. From his comments, I knew he was associating being a Christian with going to church. He has to work on Sundays, so his wife takes the children to church each week. We talked about knowing Jesus in a personal way and how to have a personal relationship with him. He took “Steps to Peace With God” and “Understanding the Cross.”
A man in his fifties passed the table with his two grandsons and told me to keep up the good work. When he was several feet away from the table, he turned around and said, “I’ll see you again,” and pointed toward heaven. In a few minutes, he came back to the table and said, “God told me to leave the car and come back to let you know how important your work is to God’s kingdom.” He told me he had a life-threatening illness, and I prayed for God to be glorified through his healing, if it was His will. This man’s son is a youth minister who had brought young people from his church in Indiana to the Smokies for a retreat. After thanking me for my prayer, he said God had directed his path to the LTW table so he could encourage me, and I could pray for him. He left for the last time repeating that he would see me again in heaven.
A family from New York treated me like a celebrity, taking pictures of me with their family because they said visiting the table had been the highlight of their vacation. The children and their parents were bold witnesses for Christ. It was such a blessing to hear them tell about talking with people from Gatlinburg to New York City about how Jesus is the only way to God and how Jesus died for their sins. What a blessing each of them were to me!
Five of the visitors today were middle school teachers, and we had great conversations about the joys and woes of teaching in public schools. Although I am retired, it was like I was still in the classroom as we related to each other. One of them told me what I was doing at the table was a “labor of love.” I told her that when you love someone, what you do for him or her is not labor but joy. I thank God many times a week for giving me the privilege and honor of representing Him to the lost, as well as those who already know Him. I have the opportunity to share His love through talking with people and giving them resources to grow to be more like Him. As I have heard Dwayna say many times, “It doesn’t get any better than this!”
Three of the families who talked with me today are coming to church in the morning at the First Baptist Church of Sevierville. They said they would be looking for me, and I told them which service I attend and where I usually sit. God was at work today, and I am very thankful that I could be working with Him.

Thank you for sharing this story, and it reminded me that I haven't written to report on the Boulder outreach, though we did go with six from my church and a friend from the Denver team (Melanie). I'm sorry for the delay.
Blessings,

My New Song
Shelter me in a secret place
Broken by Your grace let Your will abide
Nowhere else left for me to go
For my weary soul to be satisfied
At the end of my broken dreams
You’re there just like You were
In the very beginning when
My plans were set to work
All glory goes to Jesus
Interceding for me
Taking every mistake and making
Something good indeed
Safe in the sovereignty of God
Here I am with nothing to boast of
But Your mercy and love that won't let me go
Draw me near reach me where I am
With pleasure from Your hand on my sequestered road
At the end of my broken dreams
You're there just like You were
In the very beginning when
My plans were set to work
All glory goes to Jesus
Interceding for me
Taking every mistake and making
Something good indeed
Safe in the sovereignty of God
Through the motion of a prayer wheel turning
Kindness over me
Taking every mistake and making
Me somehow complete
Safe in the sovereignty of God
Safe in the sovereignty of God

LTW Update: NYC
Sunday was a muggy hot day but we gave thanks for the shady trees in Central Park where we found refuge and had a wonderful time of worship and sang hymns together. Oh how we love the hymns! We prayed that the Lord will gather more worshippers to join us in lifting up praise to our Great God and King!
It was a joy to then disperse handing out gospels. With many folks relaxing on benches it was conducive for conversation. I like to ask questions, “Have you heard the good news?” or “Have you ever read the Bible?” This allows others to share their thoughts and experience and/or allows me to share the gospel or my testimony. We passed out several tracts and gospels and then prayed together that God’s Word would take root in the hearts of those with whom we shared.
This week’s Wednesday night Prayer & Apologetics we will hosted by Eric who teaches Greek and Apologetics and will teach us from Acts 17. We pray that the Lord will continue to raise up many more to earnestly contend for our faith here in our amazing mission field of NY!
We will join another ministry for an outreach in Washington Square Park on Saturday from 2-5. and look forward to opportunities we have to work with other Christians and ministries which have a heart to share the gospel and reach the lost.
May the Lord continue to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we could ask or think and to Him be all the glory!
Thanks always for your prayers and support!

LTW Update: Venice Beach
Our team setting up the table
Here is Eileen, a member of our team who takes photos most of the time while praying for Mike and Dan as they speak to people who approach the table. Because of her photography, she is not in many of the photos. This ministry would not be the same without Eileen and her administrative and organizational skills. We never had photos to share before Eileen joined us. She has such a sweet spirit and shows love to everyone who approaches the table.
Mike and Eileen at the start of the day at our table on Ocean Front Walk
We have something for everyone, and all materials are free. We focus on materials for people involved in occult spirituality at this location.
People approach, and as materials are offered for free, people are invited to stay and hear answers based on the Bible about their spirituality. We have materials for children, atheists, New Agers, witches, Hindus and Buddhists.
When the ministry began, I had memorized some Bible verses I loved to share with people about the depravity of people apart from God's grace. I would offer them a seat, just like the psychics have an extra chair, inviting people to sit with me;
however, instead of reading someone's palms or offering tarot card readings, I would read the person what the Bible says about salvation.
God has continued our work of evangelism at Venice Beach since this outreach of apologetics began in 2002.
Now the ministry is led by Mike, Eileen and Dan.

Dan walked over to the neighboring vendor to have a discussion about magic and read him what the Bible teaches about salvation...
We have a sign reading, "Come find out what God has to say about your future for free," as we are neighboring psychics along Ocean Front Walk.
People are surprised at the anomalous Christian table on the boardwalk, offering free Bibles and the free gift of forgiveness of sin through Jesus.
"Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost...
Incline your ear and come to Me.
Listen that you may live...
Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord,
and He will have compassion on him...'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,' declares the Lord.
'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth. It shall not return to Me empty without accomplishing what I desire.'" (Isaiah 55)
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
"God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead." (Acts 17:30-31)
"For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not as a result of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
"Therefore, from now on, we recognize no man according to the flesh...therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things have passed away; behold new things have come." (2 Corinthians 5:16-17)
"Behold, I am making all things new." (Rev. 21:5)
"A Father for the fatherless and a judge for the widows...God makes a home for the lonely." (Psalm 68:5-6)Eddie and Maria -- Eddie is a teacher. He took from the table two DVDs: Unlocking the Mystery of Life and They Sold Their Souls To the Rock 'n Roll. He said he plans to show these two DVDs to his students.
Lizbeth -- she is a Christian from Denmark who came to California for vacation. We had a brief talk about how people in Denmark have a Christian tradition, but they have a lot of their own personal views into their Christianity, and they don't have a relationship with the Lord. We gave her the DVD, Unlocking the Mystery of Life, to bring back to Denmark.
Polo -- he's a young Jewish guy from New York. He set up the table beside our table to sell magic. When I only happened to walk beside his table, I overheard him asking a lady if she wanted to see some magic. We prayed for him silently. Eventually, Dan read to him from Romans 7.
Manuel – he rode by to look at our materials. I told him to take anything that interested him. I told him that we had a Hebrew/English New Testament somewhere. He asked whether he could have it, and I was hesitant. When I handed him the Hebrew Bible he was so happy and said he had always wanted one, and the Lord had given him the desire of his heart. I told him that the Lord would probably use him to witness to someone who reads Hebrew.
We talked to a man (didn't get his name) who asked Dan and me about religion in general. He asked if we were "born again Christians," and Dan told him we were. He saw the "Joseph Smith" DVD and asked about it. Dan explained that the DVD points out the errors of Mormonism. The man asked about Islam and then mentioned that the Quran described Allah as the greatest of all believers. He then asked about Catholicism, and I said that I believe there are some in the Catholic Church who are saved because they accept God's gift of salvation by faith apart from works but that is the only way for salvation. He asked how I could tell whether someone was saved. I told him I personally cannot tell because I cannot see the person's heart, but God can. He asked about Ecklant Tolle's book, and I said he advocated self-reliance, and I explained that if there were any other way to be saved but through Jesus, He would have never had to die.
A young guy stopped by asking about the rapture and the thousand year reign, and we had an interesting discussion on what the Bible teaches about end times.
Darren -- he was wearing a pirate hat. We gave him a "Joseph Smith" DVD (exposing Mormonism).
Malik and Minnie -- Malik is a seven year old boy accompanied by his mother. Malik saw the sign and wanted a free gift; Eileen and I were desperately looking for children's materials, and we found "The Family Cat" and another children's tract about friendship and one about children's Bible questions. As I was giving these to him, he asked whether he could have a baseball cap. He pointed to a blue cap next to one of the boxes. I picked it up and saw that it said "No Weapon Formed Against Me Shall Prosper." (We had no idea we even had it.) I gave it to him, and he and Minnie were very pleased that they had stopped by.
Moe -- he is Persian who used to own a bookstore. He was carrying with him a Bible (I suspect he was Muslim; his name may have stood for Mohammed). He said it was easy for everyone to believe there is one God, but it's hard to believe God is inside of us. I told him first something has to happen -- God cannot have fellowship with sin, so Jesus had to mediate. One God and one mediator between God and man -- the man, Jesus Christ. He said, "Yes," but only repeated his first statement... he spoke for a few minutes with us before moving on.
A man stopped by with his dog -- I gave him the book exposing Hinduism and Si Baba, Avatar Of the Night. I told him a little about the book, Running Against the Wind, which caught his eye. He was surprised we were giving away free stuff.
Many Christians stop by to talk to us.
John -- He said he is Christian. I am not sure if he is homeless. He stopped by to talk to us. He was reading Michael Drosnin's Bible Code book. He stayed for over an hour. He talked to Dan a long time.
A couple stopped to talk to us about Kabbalah. I'm not too familiar with it, so I just asked questions. The guy said, "It's all in the Bible, if you read it right." He spent 10 minutes talking about Egyptian history and how all the religions are teaching the same thing in different ways. I pointed out that they contradict Christianity, and they are all false or one is true. I asked him about Jesus being the way the truth and the life and the only One to the Father. He said something about "life" that is in everyone, etc. I asked him about the wrath of God and quoted John 3:36. He said that it meant that those who are in error will have difficulty because they are ignorant of the enlightenment. I kept pressing him on the idea that there is eternal punishment for sin, and we cannot save ourselves.
